Why is your 501(c)(3) status pending?
All new nonprofits must apply to the IRS for tax-exempt status. Our application is currently under IRS review.
Can I donate right now?
Yes. We are legally permitted to accept donations while our application is pending.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Once our 501(c)(3) status is approved, donations made during the pending period will be retroactively tax-deductible to the date of our incorporation, as allowed by IRS regulations.
When will approval happen?
IRS timelines vary. We will notify donors immediately once our Determination Letter is received.
