Help Us Build Our First Transitional House
No Woman, No Cry is working toward opening our first safe, supportive women’s shelter in Orange County. This shelter will provide women experiencing homelessness with a stable place to sleep, heal, and rebuild their lives. Donations toward this project support facility costs, renovations, furnishings, safety upgrades, and essential resources needed to open our doors. Every contribution brings us one step closer to creating a safe haven where women can move from survival to stability.
Case Management/Mental Health Resources
Every woman’s journey is unique. This project provides individualized case management, where women work one-on-one with staff to develop personalized goals related to housing, employment, health, and reunification when appropriate. We also connect women to mental health services, counseling, and trauma-informed care, ensuring emotional well-being is prioritized alongside housing stability.
Soaring Future TAY Program
The Soaring Future TAY (Transition-Age Youth) Program empowers young women ages 18–24 who are experiencing housing instability or facing barriers on their path to independence. Through individualized support, mentorship, and resource navigation, participants receive the tools needed to build stability, confidence, and a future they can be proud of. The program focuses on removing barriers through case management, employment and career development, education support, life skills development, and connections to essential community resources. Soaring Future creates a supportive environment where young women are encouraged to identify their goals, strengthen their skills, and develop pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency. By partnering with community organizations, employers, and service providers, NWNC helps ensure young women are surrounded by opportunities and support systems that promote success. Together, we help transition-age young women move beyond survival and begin to soar.
Road Block Removal Model
Our Roadblock Removal Program is designed to help women experiencing homelessness overcome immediate barriers that prevent them from accessing stability and care. We provide essential resources, such as hygiene kits, clothing, and direct support while also connecting women to local services and opportunities. By addressing urgent needs and restoring dignity, we help remove the everyday obstacles that stand in the way of safety, confidence, and a path forward.

Dignity Stay: Rest & Reset
Dignity Stay: Rest & Reset provides short-term hotel accommodations for women and mothers with children who are experiencing an immediate housing crisis, unsafe living situation, or temporary homelessness. The program offers a safe place to rest, recover, and regroup while participants work with community partners and service providers to identify longer-term housing solutions and supportive resources.
Dignity Kits
Dignity Kits provide essential personal care and hygiene items to women and families facing financial hardship, housing instability, or homelessness. Kits may include toiletries, feminine hygiene products, socks, undergarments, and other daily necessities that promote health, confidence, and personal dignity.
Loads of Love Dignity Services
Loads of Love Dignity Services assists families and individuals who need access to clean clothing and linens. The program provides laundry assistance through laundromat partnerships, laundry vouchers, or direct support to help participants maintain personal hygiene, improve health outcomes, and reduce barriers to employment, school attendance, and housing stability.
Dignity Boutique Pop-Up
The Dignity Boutique Pop-Up is a community-based distribution event that provides women and families with access to free clothing, shoes, accessories, personal care items, and household essentials. The boutique-style experience allows participants to select items that meet their needs while promoting dignity, choice, and self-confidence. The pop-up also serves as an opportunity to connect participants with additional NWNC programs and community resources.
Workforce and Career Empowerment Program
The Workforce & Career Empowerment Program by No Woman No Cry (NWNC) is designed to support women on their journey to economic stability and independence. Through personalized guidance, job readiness training, and ongoing support, we help women overcome barriers to employment and build sustainable career pathways.No Woman, No Cry connects women to educational classes and continuing education resources that help women increase employability and economic independence.
Participants receive assistance with resume building, interview preparation, job placement connections, and workplace readiness skills, along with continued encouragement throughout their journey. Grounded in NWNC’s Roadblock Removal Model, this program focuses on equipping women with the tools, confidence, and resources needed to secure and maintain meaningful employment.

We are a small but passionate team of women dedicated to positively impacting the lives of homeless women and women with children. As we are just beginning this journey, we warmly welcome any support and invite everyone to join us as we work towards achieving sustainability. Currently, we are in the fundraising stages and appreciate donations, which can be made through our website. Our goal is to establish a women’s house with 4-6 bedrooms, offering a safe and comfortable place for women and children to enjoy nutritious meals and rest peacefully at night. Additionally, we aim to introduce women to job skills development, resources, college education opportunities, financial literacy, and housing assistance. We plan to collaborate closely with our residents to help them set personal goals and support them throughout their journey, including offering case management meetings.

While our Dignity Drives address urgent needs, we recognize that many women experiencing homelessness face ongoing barriers that prevent them from moving forward.

Beyond opening our doors, ongoing funding is essential to keep the shelter running sustainably. This project focuses on securing financial support for daily operations such as utilities, food services, program supplies, transportation, and resident support services. Consistent funding ensures that women receive reliable care, dignity, and continuity as they work toward long-term housing and independence.
