Help Us Build Our First Women's Shelter
No Woman, No Cry is working toward opening our first safe, supportive women’s shelter in Orange County. This shelter will provide women experiencing homelessness with a stable place to sleep, heal, and rebuild their lives. Donations toward this project support facility costs, renovations, furnishings, safety upgrades, and essential resources needed to open our doors. Every contribution brings us one step closer to creating a safe haven where women can move from survival to stability.

New Staff
A safe shelter depends on compassionate, trained professionals. This project supports the hiring of essential staff, including shelter coordinators, case managers, support staff, and program facilitators. Our team will provide day-to-day support, crisis response, and guidance to residents, ensuring the shelter operates with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.

College/Tech Training for Women
Education opens doors to opportunity. Through this project, No Woman, No Cry connects women to educational classes, certifications, and workforce training programs within the community. This includes GED preparation, vocational training, job placement support, and continuing education resources that help women increase employability and economic independence.

Job Development/Financial Literacy
We are committed to empowering women with the skills they need to thrive independently. This project focuses on personal development, life skills, and self-sufficiency training, including communication skills, confidence building, financial literacy, job readiness, and goal setting. These services help women rebuild self-esteem and prepare for long-term stability.

Case Management/Mental Health Resources
Every woman’s journey is unique. This project provides individualized case management, where women work one-on-one with staff to develop personalized goals related to housing, employment, health, and reunification when appropriate. We also connect women to mental health services, counseling, and trauma-informed care, ensuring emotional well-being is prioritized alongside housing stability.

Food Security and a Women's and Children's Garden
Food insecurity is a major challenge for women experiencing homelessness. Our shelter will provide daily breakfast and dinner to residents, ensuring consistent access to nutritious meals. In addition, we will maintain an on-site community garden, giving women the opportunity to grow fresh produce, learn sustainable food practices, and participate in healing, hands-on activities that promote wellness and self-reliance.

Homeless Women Drop-In Services
No Woman, No Cry is committed to meeting women where they are. Three days a week, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., we provide off-the-street access to essential services for women experiencing homelessness. These services include showers, hot meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and basic necessities, while also offering pathways into shelter services and long-term support.

Beyond opening our doors, ongoing funding is essential to keep the shelter running sustainably. This project focuses on securing financial support for daily operations such as utilities, food services, program supplies, transportation, and resident support services. Consistent funding ensures that women receive reliable care, dignity, and continuity as they work toward long-term housing and independence.
