Programs
Our Women’s Shelter Program will offer emergency and transitional housing for survivors of domestic violence. Participants receive safety planning, case management, advocacy, and referrals to trusted community partners for counseling, legal aid, healthcare, employment, and permanent housing support.
Emergency Housing
(1–3 Months) provides immediate, short-term housing for women and families fleeing domestic violence and unsafe living conditions. This program is designed to meet survivors at their most critical moments, offering a secure, confidential environment where safety and stabilization are the top priorities.
Advocacy
Advocacy is a core component of our work. No Woman, No Cry stands alongside survivors, helping them navigate complex systems such as the legal, housing, healthcare, and social service systems.
Our advocacy efforts empower women to understand their rights, make informed decisions, and access the protections and resources they deserve. We work to amplify survivors’ voices while respecting their autonomy, dignity, and choices throughout the healing process.
Transitional Housing
(3 Months–18 Months)
Our Transitional Housing program supports survivors as they move from crisis to long-term stability. This program offers extended housing for women and families who are ready to focus on rebuilding their lives in a structured, supportive environment.
Referrals
Collaborates with trusted community partners to ensure survivors receive comprehensive support beyond shelter services. Through referrals, participants can access counseling and mental health services, legal assistance, healthcare, job training, childcare, and public benefits.
By connecting survivors to a strong network of local resources, we help reduce barriers and ensure continuity of care as women work toward long-term independence and well-being.
Survivors of Domestic Violence
No Woman, No Cry welcomes all survivors of domestic violence into a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and supportive shelter environment. Our program is rooted in compassion, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that every woman feels safe, heard, and valued. We strive to create a space where survivors can begin to heal, rebuild trust, and envision a future free from violence. Through supportive housing and comprehensive services, No Woman, No Cry helps women move from crisis towards stability, independence, and hope.
Case Management
Each participant is paired with a case manager who provides individualized, survivor-centered support. Case management focuses on identifying strengths, addressing barriers, and setting achievable goals tailored to each woman’s unique situation.
Services may include safety planning, goal development, progress tracking, and coordination of care. Case managers advocate for survivors and ensure they have access to the resources and services needed to support healing, stability, and self-sufficiency.
