Each team member brings unique skills and experiences to our mission, working together to create a positive impact in our community. Together, we strive to empower and uplift those we serve!
LaTijera Cabrera
Founder & Executive Director
LaTijera brings over 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her work has centered on serving homeless women and families with children throughout Orange County, where she has held multiple leadership roles focused on housing stability, program development, and community-based care.
She also has extensive experience working with food banks and addressing food insecurity, with a deep understanding of the systemic challenges that impact access to basic needs in Orange County. From the beginning of her career, LaTijera knew she would one day create a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the complex barriers faced by women across the United States.
LaTijera holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice and Human Rights. Her academic research focuses on intersectionality, women and gender studies, social justice, and food insecurity. Her leadership is grounded in equity, dignity, and the belief that sustainable change begins with community-driven solutions.
